 | Biography Karin U. McMichael practices in the areas of estate planning, trust administration, and probate. She was born and raised in the Black Forest in southern Germany and studied interpreting at Johannes-Gutenberg Universität in Mainz, Germany. Her studies included a year as an exchange student sponsored by the German Academic Exchange Service at the University of California at Davis. Ms. McMichael graduated from Johannes-Gutenberg Universität with a Dolmetscherdiplom in interpreting (English, Spanish). After moving to Oregon, she attended Northwestern School of Law of Lewis & Clark College in Portland, where she served as an associate editor of Environmental Law and received her J.D. cum laude. Ms. McMichael then earned a Master of Laws in taxation from the University of Washington in Seattle. She is a member of the Washington, Oregon, and Alaska Bar Associations and a past president of the Northwest Washington Estate Planning Council. © Karin McMichael, P.S. 2010 |
